theCollaborative 1881, located at 1881 W. North Temple St. in Salt Lake City, UT, will be a mixed-income housing community with 350 apartment homes. It is located adjacent to the UTA’s 1940 W. North Temple Trax station, 3 stops from downtown Salt Lake. Additionally, the community is easily accessible from I-80 and I-215, minutes from the Airport, just over a half mile from Cottonwood Park, and walkable to a number of retail dining option.

Construction will be a five-over-one podium building with upper terrace/outdoor plazas over the podium that will provide a generous amount of amenitized community open space. Each level will also feature spacious interior gathering spaces, programmed to provide opportunities to build a strong community.

The Collaborative 1881 is being built as a partnership between Defy Co.labs and the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City.
